Peer Review
All works will be subjected to an initial evaluation by the Editor and the Editorial Committee. The works that pass this evaluation will be sent to a peer review, using the "blind peer" method, where specialists in the area of knowledge will be in charge of evaluating the quality and relevance of the work.
The journal reviews through the DOUBLE BLIND process, which means that the document submitted by the authors is assigned to at least two (2) peer reviewers from outside the university. From this review, three (3) results may arise:
1. Publishable with light modifications.
2. Publishable with substantial modifications.
3. Not publishable.
For an article to be published, it must obtain at least two positive evaluations, although corrections may be necessary. In the event that disparate evaluations are obtained, a third referee will be consulted to make the decision. This decision and any controversy will be resolved by the Editor and Editorial Committee.
The evaluation times are as follows:
1. Initial evaluation (2 weeks).
2. Peer review (4 to 8 weeks).
3. Verification of corrections (2 to 4 weeks).
4. Publication dates: June and December of each year.
