About the Journal

Scientia Iter is the scientific journal of the Universidad Nuestra Señora del Carmen (UNESCA), Panama. The journal publishes research in progress and/or completed on the four major lines of research of the University, namely:

1. Education, Society and Human Development.

2. Management of Social and Human Sciences.

3. Economic, Administrative and Accounting Sciences.

4. Information Technologies in the Knowledge Society.

These studies can be theoretical or empirical, and must address issues of relevance at a local, regional or international level. The authors are responsible for ensuring that the works presented are unpublished and are not being submitted to other research journals.

Our target audience is Master's and Doctorate students, as well as national and international researchers interested in these areas of knowledge. We offer open access articles and do not charge any publication fees, since the journal is 100% funded by the university.
